You can create a Publication directly from a Document assembled through the Content Retrieval workflow. This guide walks you through the steps to save the assembled Document in Pergamon Document format and create a Publication.
Prerequisites
- Ensure you have completed the Document Assembly workflow using the Content Retrieval process.
- The assembled Document must be ready for export.
To create a Publication through Document Assembly:
- After retrieving the content through Document Assembly, click on the Export button on the right.
- In the export format box, select Pergamon Document and click Next.
- Enter the Document name and select the export languages (e.g., English UK [EN-GB], German [DE], French [FR]) through the available Language presets or manual selection.
- To create a Publication, check the option for Create Publication and click Export.
- Click Go to Publication to open the newly created Publication.
You will be able to see the new Publication in the Publications hub. Go to the Publications Hub and click on the newly created Publication. You will see the following screen that shows the Source Document and the derived target language documents that are included in the Publication.
From this screen, you can:
- View the type of Publication whether it is of Booklet type or Leaflet type.
- View the Source Document - indicated by the SOURCE label by directly clicking on it.
- View the other target language Documents.
- Edit the Publication by managing the included Documents.
- Export the Publication to a desired format.
