AI Writing Assistant access and permissions – Pergamon Support Portal

Access to the AI Writing Assistant in Pergamon is determined by your document permissions. Depending on your access level, you may have full editing capabilities, limited interaction, or view-only rights.

Access levels

Document Author

You automatically have full access to the AI Writing Assistant if you created the document via Document Assembly or new document from the Documents Hub.

Full Access

Granted manually by the document owner.

Users with full access can:

✅ Run prompts using the AI Assistant

✅ Upload, delete, and download AI resources

✅ Customize AI response style

✅ Insert generated content into the document

View Only

View-only users can:

✅ Download uploaded AI resources

❌ Cannot run prompts

❌ Cannot upload or delete resources

❌ Cannot customize AI output

❌ Cannot insert AI-generated content

Behavior when duplicating documents

Note: When you duplicate a document that contains AI resources, the duplicated document will not inherit those resources.

How to request full access

If you need to generate content or upload AI resources, request the document owner to update your access level to Full Access from the Access Control settings.
