Styles in Pergamon define formatting and layout rules applied to document content.
They determine how elements such as paragraphs, tables, and objects are rendered in different contexts.
A fixed set of system styles is available in the Creator workspace for use during document authoring.
Style Categories
Pergamon system styles are grouped into the following categories:
Paragraph styles – control block-level text structure
Character styles – modify inline text
Table styles – define table layout and borders
Table cell styles – control individual cell behavior
Object styles – define how assets align with text
Style reference table
You can use the style reference tables in this section to review available styles and understand how they are intended to be used while editing documents in Pergamon.
How to use the style reference tables
Each style reference table includes the following columns:
Name — Shows the exact style name as it appears in the Pergamon Editor.
Purpose — Explains when and why the style should be used.
Example — Provides a visual preview of how the style may render.
To view an example, select Show sample in the corresponding row. Examples are expandable and provided for reference only.
The examples shown in the style reference tables are provided for guidance only. They illustrate the general behavior of each style and are not intended to be treated as an exact or authoritative representation.
The final appearance of a style may vary depending on layout, document structure, and output settings. Always apply styles based on their intended purpose rather than visual appearance alone.
- These styles can be accessed and applied through the Pergamon Editor toolbar or via the Quick Action menu.
- Pergamon may include additional styles that are not listed in the style reference tables on this page. Available styles can vary depending on editor context, document type, and enabled features.
