You can restore an earlier version of a document when you want to return to previous content. Restoring does not replace an old version. Instead, Pergamon creates a new version that contains the restored content.
You can restore a version in two ways:
From the Version history tab inside the document
From the Documents Hub using the Version column dropdown
Restore from Version history
Use this method when the document is already open.
Open the document and click Version history.
Find the version you want to restore and click View.
In View mode, click Restore.
Click Unlock and leave.
Choose whether to increment the major or minor version number.
Enter a New version comment, then click Save.
Pergamon creates a new version (for example, 3.4) and opens it in the Editor.
Restore from the Documents Hub
Use this method when you want to restore directly from the list view.
In the Documents Hub, make sure the Version column is visible.
Click Settings (table column selector).
Enable Version.
Open the version dropdown for the document.
Select the version you want to restore.
In View mode, click Restore on the right.
Choose whether to:
Increment minor version number, or
Increment major version number
Click Save.
Choosing the version number
Minor version → small corrections or recent changes
Major version → significant changes or reverting to a much older version
