Quick Action Menu

The Quick Action Menu is a contextual shortcut menu available for use in the Pergamon Editor. It allows you to quickly:

• Apply system-wide styles

• Insert special characters

• Upload assets into a content block

• Insert tables

It is designed for speed - accessible by keyboard and fully navigable without a mouse.

Open the Quick Action Menu

1. Place the cursor inside a content block.

2. Open the menu using either option:

   Keyboard shortcuts

   • macOS: Command ⌘ + Return ↩

   • Windows: Ctrl + Enter

   Toolbar

   • Click the Quick Action Menu icon in the Editor toolbar.

Navigate the Quick Action Menu

Switch between tabs

• Press Tab to move forward through the menu tabs.

• Press Shift + Tab to move backward.

Move through options

• Use the Up ↑ and Down ↓ arrow keys to browse items within a tab.

Select an item

• Press Return ↩ (macOS) or Enter (Windows) to apply the selected style or insert the selected item.

Search for styles and items

• Type in the search field to filter available styles or insertable elements.

• The search field is context-aware and remembers your last used query, making repeated actions faster.

Close the Quick Action Menu

• Press Esc to close the menu at any time.
