Insert and upload a new asset in Pergamon

Insert asset using quick action menu

1. Position the cursor in the content block where you want to insert the asset.
2. Click Quick Action Menu from the toolbar.
3. Press command + return (Mac) if preferred.
4. Choose asset source:
   • In the Quick Action Menu, you have two options:
     • Upload a new asset from your local machine (local assets).
     • Insert an asset from the existing Assets Library (Global assets).

Insert a local asset from your local machine:

1. Click the Local tab in the Quick Action Menu.
2. Click on Upload assets.
3. Select the file from your local machine or drag and drop it.
4. After the file is uploaded, click on it to insert the asset into the content block.

Insert a global asset from the list of global assets:

1. Click the Global tab in the Quick Action Menu (or use the keyboard to navigate).
2. Click on the desired asset from the list to insert it into the content block.

After the asset is inserted, you can view the asset preview by hovering over the asset using the mouse pointer.

Insert asset using right toolbar shortcut

1. Click the Insert asset button in the right toolbar.
2. Select the source of the asset, either local assets from your machine (Upload assets) or global assets from Asset list. 
3. Follow the prompts to complete the insertion into the content block.

Supported Asset Formats

• PNG (Portable Network Graphic) file format
• JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) file format
• AI (Adobe Illustrator) file format
• PSD (Photoshop Document) file format
• EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) file format
