Leading space controls the vertical spacing between lines of text within a paragraph. In the Pergamon Editor, you can adjust leading with:
- Base: Default line spacing.
- Auto: Dynamically adjusts spacing relative to the font size.
- Percentage (%): Custom spacing values.
Note: To modify font size for global content, turn on the toggle
for Advanced formatting for global content in Content attributes.
To modify Leading space:
- Select the text in the content block where you want to adjust line spacing.
- Click on the layout switcher to display the Content Attributes Panel.
- For editing global content, turn on the toggle Advanced formatting for global content.
- Under the Content Attributes panel, click Text Formatting > Font Leading.
- In the Font Leading dropdown, choose one of the following:
- Base: Default leading set by the system.
- Auto: Automatically adjusts leading to 120% of the font size.
- Custom Percentage: Enter a specific percentage (e.g., 150% for wider spacing or 90% for tighter lines).
- Use the stepper (up/down arrows) for incremental adjustments.
- Click Save to save your changes.
