What it does
The AI Writing Assistant is purpose-built to support structured content development in the Editor. It's designed to:
Generate content from pre-filled prompts
Use content blocks marked as AI Instruction. These blocks contain predefined prompts that guide the Assistant to create tailored content.Reference document-specific AI resources
If you've uploaded AI resources (like manuals or specifications), the Assistant uses them as its source of truth.Refine outputs in conversation
Adjust the draft by sending follow-up instructions. For example:
“Limit each sentence to 15 words.”Insert content into your document
Add results directly into the selected block or as new blocks. You can also apply a style before inserting.
To use the AI Writing Assistant effectively:
Select a content block marked with the AI Instruction icon.
Upload AI resources to provide accurate context.
Submit prompts manually—the Assistant won’t run automatically on selected text.
