To generate accurate, context-aware content, the AI Writing Assistant relies on AI resources you upload for each document. These resources serve as the assistant’s reference materials - its domain-specific knowledge library.
You can upload documents in a variety of formats such as PDF, DOCX, TXT and other supported media formats from the AI Resources tab.

Note: Use authoritative AI resources for accurate outputs
The AI Writing Assistant generates content only from the AI resources you upload. To ensure accurate, consistent, and trustworthy outputs, upload authoritative and unambiguous resources for each product.
Avoid uploading:
Multiple versions of the same material that describe the same operation differently
Outdated, draft, or deprecated instructions alongside approved content
Resources that apply to different product variants or firmware versions without clear labeling
If the uploaded resources contain conflicting instructions for the same operation, the AI may be unable to generate content or may return a validation error.
Best practice:
Upload the most recent, approved resources that reflect the intended product configuration. Where multiple versions are required, clearly scope them by product model, revision, or version.
What’s next?
After uploading AI Resources, return to the Document Editor. Locate the content blocks with pre-filled prompts indicated by the icon - these are your starting points for generating content with the AI Writing Assistant.
