The Back Page is intended to be used only with layouts of type Back. This is the only way to ensure that the Back Page is correctly processed in both Booklet and Leaflet layouts.
It is common practice that, after assembling and editing the first Back Page, this document becomes a template that can be duplicated and reused across multiple projects. In other words, there is no need to assemble the Back Page from scratch for every new project.
Anatomy of Back Page
The Back Page document is made of 5 content blocks, each with a specific purpose:
| Content block | Purpose | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Branding asset | Upload the company or branding graphical image to this content block. Apply a different object style or use size adjustment to adapt the logo to the required size and position. |
| 2 | QR code | Provide the URL address in this content block. The layout generation engine will produce a QR code based on the specified URL. You cannot change the size of the QR code. |
| 3 | URL address | Provide the URL address in this content block. |
| 4 | Compliance symbols | This content block contains predefined compliance symbols. You need to convert the content to Local to edit it. |
| 5 | Company contact address | Provide the company address and email address in this content block. |
Back page Document editing guidelines
Do not add or delete content blocks in the Back page document.
Although the Editor allows you to add or remove blocks, the Back Page layout is built on a fixed structure. Adding new blocks or deleting existing ones will break this structure and can cause layout-generation errors during PDF export. To ensure correct processing, edit only the text inside the existing content blocks. Keeping the original block structure intact prevents formatting issues and ensures the Back page exports successfully.
- Always keep the content blocks in their original order. Do not rearrange content blocks to change the visual layout of the page. This can only be done using a predefined compatible Back Page layout.
- Do not change the predefined script labels to avoid issues during PDF generation.
- You do not need to make any changes to the FBack Page when adapting it to either the Booklet or Leaflet format. Your edited version will work correctly in both layouts.
Limitations
The Back Page is designed to support multiple languages within its content blocks, and therefore it is set to Multi-Language mode. For this reason, the Back Page cannot be localized to individual languages. Any translations, if needed, must be manually copy-pasted into the content blocks.
