What is Beta?
Beta means this feature is real, functional, and ready to use — but still evolving. You're among the first users to experience Pergami AI. It works. It learns. And it gets better with every interaction. Feedback from users like you directly shapes what it becomes. This is not a preview or a demo — it's a live product in active development.
What is Pergami AI?
Pergami AI is Pergamon's built-in AI support assistant. It's available directly inside the Pergamon platform, ready to answer your product questions and help you manage support requests — without leaving the app.
What Pergami AI can help you with
- Product Q&A — Ask questions about how to use Pergamon features and get instant answers drawn from our knowledge base.
- Support tickets — Create a new support ticket through a guided conversation.
- Ticket status — Check the status of an existing support ticket using your ticket number and registered email.
Current scope — Beta
Pergami AI is focused on product usage questions. It is designed to help you with:
1. Questions about how to use Pergamon product features
2. Creating and checking support tickets
It does not cover marketing, sales, or subscription-related topics in this version.
Multi-step troubleshooting is not available in Beta. For complex issues, Pergami AI will guide you to raise a support ticket so our team can assist directly.
Limitations
- Does not retain memory between separate sessions — each new chat starts fresh
- Does not access your account data, documents, or workspace files
- Does not perform actions inside the product — it cannot edit, delete, or move content on your behalf
- Does not handle billing, pricing, or subscription inquiries
- Does not guarantee 100% accuracy — answers are based on published documentation and are continuously being improved
How to launch Pergami AI
1. Log in to your Pergamon account
2. Look for the question mark icon (?) in the top navigation bar, on the right side of the screen
3. Click it to open the Pergami AI chat panel
4. Click "Start AI chat" to begin your conversation
Pergami AI is available on all pages within the Pergamon platform — you can access it at any time without leaving your current workflow.
How to use Pergami AI
Asking product questions
Ask questions the same way you'd ask a colleague. Be specific about what you're trying to do.
- "How do I reorder content blocks in the Document Editor?"
- "How do I add text annotations to an asset?"
- "How do I export a document to PDF?"
Creating a support ticket
If Pergami AI can't answer your question, it will offer to create a support ticket on your behalf. You can also start this directly by typing "Create a ticket" or clicking the quick reply button.
Checking ticket status
Type "Check ticket status" or click the quick reply. You'll be asked for your ticket number and the email address used when the ticket was submitted — this is to verify the ticket belongs to you.
Leaving feedback
After each answer, you'll see feedback icons. Use them to tell us if the response was helpful. If it wasn't, you can add a short note explaining what you were looking for. This directly helps improve the bot.
Starting a new chat
Click the new chat icon in the top-right corner of the chat window to clear the conversation and start fresh.
Tips for best results
Ask specific, contextual questions for the most accurate answers.
