Translation Project ID Error

Problem
You encounter the following error message when attempting to create a translation project in Pergamon:
Translation Project ID is required.

Cause
The Translation Project ID field is empty. This ID is required to link the translation project in Pergamon with the corresponding project in TranslationProjex.
Resolution

1. Log in to TranslationProjex and navigate to the Projects section.
   1. Copy the relevant Translation Project ID.
2. In Pergamon, paste the Translation Project ID into the required field and complete the form.
3. Verify all fields and click Save to create the translation project.

Missing XLIFF file

Problem
You encounter the following error message during the import process in Pergamon:
Xliff does not exist on Translation Projex.

Cause
The updated XLIFF file was not uploaded to the Target folder in the Files tab of the Add/Edit Job window in TranslationProjex.

Resolution

1. Open the Add/Edit Job Window:
   • In TranslationProjex, locate the translation job associated with the project.
   • Click the Job Name to open the job details window.
2. Navigate to the Files Tab:
   • In the job details window, select the Files tab.
3. Upload the XLIFF File:
   • Under the Target folder, click Select project files.
   • Browse to the location of the updated XLIFF file on your local system.
   • Upload the file and verify that it appears in the Target folder.
4. Save the Job:
   • Click Save to ensure the uploaded file is linked to the translation job.
5. Retry the Import Process:
   • Return to Pergamon and retry the import process for the translation job.

Additional Tips:

• Confirm that the XLIFF file contains the correct updates before uploading it to TranslationProjex.
• Ensure the file is uploaded to the Target folder specifically, not the Source or Reference folders.
