Permission inheritance in Publications
Here is a quick overview of how permission inheritance works when creating publications in Pergamon:
1. Creating a Publication from the Publications Hub
Go to Publications Hub → Create new publication
A publication created this way has no access permissions set by default
It is therefore restricted to all users unless permissions are manually assigned
2. Creating a Publication during Questionnaire Document creation
When creating a document through the blueprint or questionnaire workflow, you can enable publication creation in the final step
In this case, the Publication inherits the same access permissions as the new document
By default, new documents created through this path grant Full Access to other workspace users
3. Creating a Publication from the Documents Hub
In the Documents Hub, locate the document → click the three dots → Create Publication
The publication created here inherits access permissions from the document it is based on
