1. Publications Feature
The Publications feature has been successfully ported from the legacy UI to the new Pergamon UI, bringing enhanced functionality and a modernized interface. This feature allows you to:
- Combine multiple Documents into structured outputs like booklets or leaflets.
- Manage Publications efficiently through the Publications Hub.
- Export Publications to various formats, including PDF, InDesign, and XML.
This addition significantly enhances Pergamon’s ability to handle complex document workflows, making it easier to create, manage, and distribute professional content.

Enhancements
Blueprints Mapping for Documents and Publications
- Access Permissions: Implemented access permissions for Blueprints, allowing you to control who can view, edit, or manage Documents or Publications created from specific Blueprints.
- Source Language Parameter: Added a Source Language parameter to Blueprints, making it easier to preset the language for document creation.
Improvements and Optimizations
- Exchange Messaging System: Improved the exchange messaging system for the Translations feature for better communication and workflow efficiency.
- AWS S3 Storage Improvements: Enhanced file storage in AWS S3 for better performance and reliability.
- InDesign API Improvements: Optimized the InDesign API for smoother integration and document handling.
- Backend Adjustments for LLM: Adjusted the backend to support the new Large Language Model (LLM) integration.
- Editor Access Rights: Adjusted access rights for the Editor role to enable editing of Publications.

Bug Fixes
- Resolved issues with Forbidden Terms in the Old UI, ensuring consistent and accurate validation.
- Fixed a problem where certain Documents lacked values for specific parameters, improving data integrity and usability.
