We’re excited to introduce Pergamon 1.12.0 and 1.12.1 packed with powerful new features, improvements, and bug fixes designed to enhance your technical documentation workflow. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what’s new in this release:

Features & Improvements

1. Access Controls for Document Assembly (Questionnaires)
   We’ve introduced Access Controls to provide controlled access for external users in the Document Assembly workflow. This update allows domain-specific access through defined user roles and permissions, ensuring content and data integrity while safeguarding sensitive information. This is a significant enhancement for managing external collaboration securely.

2. Refresh Modal after Update
   A modal will now be displayed to remind users to refresh the page after an update has been completed, ensuring the latest changes are reflected.

3. Scheduled Job to Remove Unused Assets
   To optimize system performance and storage, a new scheduled job has been implemented to automatically remove unused assets that have not been part of any Document or Publication for more than 30 days.
4. Change Source Language in Batch Edit of Blueprints
   As part of the system configuration for questionnaires managed by Blueprints, you can now change the source language directly through batch edits.
5. Max 85 Characters for Documents and Publications Naming
   To maintain consistency and improve readability, the naming conventions for Documents and Publications in Pergamon have been updated to support a maximum of 85 characters
6. Allow Inside and Outside Gutter Value of 0 in Paragraph Layout Settings
   As part of the Pergamon Editor’s advanced paragraph formatting features, you can now set the Inside and Outside Gutter value to 0 in Paragraph Formatting > Paragraph Layout > Split Column settings.

   Bug Fixes

   1. Handling No Access Rights for Documents/Publications
      Fixed an issue where users without access rights to certain Documents or Publications encountered errors.
   2. Category Filters Persist Across Pages in Document Assembly
      In the Document Assembly workflow, the category filter persists when navigating between tabs. 
   3. Comparing content versions by AI containing assets with an object style does not work.
   4. Remove Keywords from Document Attributes Tab
      Users can now remove keywords specifically from the Document Attributes tab > PDF Attributes > Keywords, without affecting other areas.
   5. Module Names Recognized Correctly in Blueprint Modules Tab
      Fixed a frontend issue where blueprint module names were not being properly recognized in the Blueprint Modules tab.
   6. Apply Input with Enter Key in Editor
      You can now apply values in Advanced Text Formatting by pressing the Enter key within the measurement dropdown.

• Fixed a sorting issue in Questionnaires by Category / Author in legacy UI.
• Fixed an issue of missing data missing in Questionnaires from Blueprint.
