🚀 Release Notes – Version 2.0

This release marks a major design milestone for Pergamon CMS with the rollout of our new UI, built on the Material Design 3 framework. Alongside the design overhaul, we’ve addressed key issues, introduced new features, and improved performance across the board.

🧩 New & Improved

• Unified UI with Material Design 3
  We’ve implemented a brand-new layout that ensures consistency across the entire application. The interface is now based on Material Design 3, offering a more modern, intuitive, and accessible user experience.

• Downloadable QC Report in New UI
  Users can now download the Pergamon CMS QC Report directly from the new interface — a highly requested addition for quality assurance workflows.

• Improved Export Order in Assembly
  The Pergamon Document now appears first in the list during export from Assembly. This update reflects real-world usage priorities and saves time in locating the main output.
  

🛠️ Fixes

• Global Asset Modal Issue Resolved
  Fixed an issue where, immediately after adding a Global Asset to a document, users were unable to open the modal to configure it. This behavior has now been fixed.

⚡ Performance Enhancements

• 30% Faster PDF Export & Preview
  We've turbocharged the PDF preview, exporting PDF, exporting InDesign packages - performance has improved by approximately 30%, thanks to a recent hardware upgrade to the Adobe InDesign server hosted on-premise in Hong Kong.

Upgrade Instructions

After update, a blue Refresh button will appear at the bottom of the login page to load the latest changes. Click Refresh to fetch the new updates.

If you do not see the new version, use the following keyboard shortcuts to fetch the new version:

• Mac: cmd + shift + R
• Windows: CTRL + Shift + R
