New features
Background export and Downloads panel
Documents and publications can now be exported in the background.
- Start an export without waiting for the process to complete.
- Track export progress from the new Downloads panel.
- Download generated files once processing is finished.
- View error messages for failed exports.
This improves productivity by allowing users to continue working while exports are processed.
Advanced formatting for Global content
Editors can now apply advanced text and paragraph formatting to global content without converting it to local content.
- A new toggle “Advanced formatting for global content” is available in Content attributes.
- Enables flexible formatting while preserving global content structure.
Safeguards for Global content
Global content now supports additional protection levels to help preserve content integrity. In addition to standard global content, you can now use:
- Global content that cannot be converted to local, but can be deleted
- Global content that cannot be converted to local or deleted
This helps prevent accidental changes or removal of centrally managed content.
Locked accounts management
- Accounts are now set to Locked after multiple incorrect login attempts.
- Workspace Owners can unlock locked accounts directly.
- A new Active checkbox has been added in Workspace settings for clearer account management.
- For account that are locked, the Workspace Owner can simply uncheck the box to unlock the account again for workspace users.
- If the user account is locked, workspace users can use the forgot password option to reset the password. This will unlock the account.
This improves clarity and administrative control over user access.
Direct navigation from InDesign error messages
Improved error handling in PDF preview.
- When text overflow errors occur, the affected Content ID is now hyperlinked.
- Clicking the Content ID takes you directly to the relevant content block in the editor.
Previously, users had to manually search for the Content ID. This enhancement significantly reduces troubleshooting time.
Improvements
Table refactor
Refactoring and enhancements have been applied to table handling to improve reliability and editing behavior.
Publication sorting toggle
Enhancements have been made to the Publication sorting toggle functionality in the Publication Build interface.
- The selected sorting filter is now preserved even when the order of added documents is manually changed. If the toggle is off, the selected filter will not be applied for the export.
- Reordering documents automatically disables the sorting toggle.
- Re-enabling the toggle restores the previously applied sorting order for the documents included in the publication.
These improvements provide greater flexibility when organizing publication content while ensuring consistent and predictable sorting behavior.
Remember me login option
The Remember me option on the login page has been properly implemented to ensure consistent and reliable login session persistence.
Fixes
- Fixed incorrect InDesign error message labeling (clarified “Not accessible” vs. “Failed”).
- Resolved cache issue that previously required a hard refresh after platform updates.
- Fixed issues affecting update behavior between releases.
System and backend updates
- Additional internal improvements and refinements to support stability and performance.
