You can copy and paste either the content (text and assets) from inside a content block or the entire block itself.
Copy and paste content from a content block
Use this method when you want to copy only the text or assets inside a content block.
Locate the content block that contains the content you want to copy.
Select the text you want to copy.

Copy the selected content:
Mac: ⌘ Command + C
Windows: Ctrl + C
Locate to the content block where you want to paste the content.

Click inside the block and paste the content:
Mac: ⌘ Command + V
Windows: Ctrl + V
Style inheritance
For this copy-paste action:
Paragraph styles are not inherited
Character styles are inherited
Inline text and object styles are inherited
Copy and paste an entire content block
Use this method when you want to copy a whole content block and place it anywhere in your document structure.
Select the content block by checking the box on the left side of the block.

Copy the block:
Mac: ⌘ Command + C
Windows: Ctrl + C
Navigate to the location in the document where you want the copied block to appear.
Select the block below which you want to insert the copied block.

Paste the copied block:
Mac: ⌘ Command + V
Windows: Ctrl + V
The pasted block appears exactly where you place it in the document.
Style inheritance
For this copy-paste action:
All styling - paragraph and character styles are inherited or copied.
