Deleting a document in Pergamon moves it to Trash, where it is stored for 14 days. During this retention period, the document’s status changes to In trash, and you can restore it at any time. After 14 days, documents in Trash are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
You can delete documents directly from the Documents Hub and restore any document that remains in the In trash state.
Delete a Document
You can delete a single document or multiple documents at once.
Delete a single document
In the Documents Hub, open More actions (three dots) for the document you want to delete.
Select Move to Trash.
Click Confirm to complete the deletion.
Delete multiple documents (bulk delete)
In the Documents Hub, turn on the Bulk actions toggle at the bottom of the page.
Select the documents you want to delete by clicking the checkboxes.
Click the Trash icon next to the Bulk actions toggle.
Click Confirm.
A confirmation message appears showing the documents moved to Trash. Click OK to finish.
Restore a document
You can restore documents that are in the Trash status during the 14-day retention period. You can restore a single document or multiple documents at once.
Restore a single document
In the Documents Hub, click Trash in the top right.
Open More actions (three dots) for the document you want to restore.
Click Restore.
Restore multiple documents (bulk restore)
In the Trash view, turn on the Bulk actions toggle.
Select the documents you want to restore using the checkboxes.
Click the Restore icon next to the toggle.
Click Confirm.
A confirmation message appears showing the restored documents. Click OK.
Permanently delete a document
You can permanently delete documents that are already in Trash. This action cannot be undone. You can permanently delete a single document or multiple documents at once.

In the Documents Hub, click Trash in the top right.
Open More actions (three dots) for the document.
Click Delete permanently.
Click Delete permanently again to confirm.

In the Trash view, turn on the Bulk actions toggle.
Select the documents you want to permanently delete.
Click the Trash icon next to the toggle.
Click Delete permanently to confirm.
A confirmation message appears showing the deleted documents. Click OK.
