You can now use the AI Writing Assistant in Pergamon to generate and refine content directly in the editor. It’s designed to speed up document creation by using structured prompts, uploaded resources, and interactive AI capabilities.
Whether you're building out a product manual or tightening technical content, the assistant helps you move faster — with contextually relevant outputs.
✨ Key capabilities
Use AI from any content block
Select any content block and open the AI Assistant to generate content based on its text or an adjusted prompt.Guided AI prompts for complex sections
Some content blocks are marked with the AI icon— these blocks include predefined prompts to be executed. These are editorial flags for writers to review and complete using AI.
Reference your own documentation
Upload technical manuals, product specs, images, or videos as AI Resources. The assistant uses these to generate accurate, domain-specific responses.Refine responses interactively
Rephrase, simplify, or shorten output with follow-up prompts — without resetting the session.Flexible insertion options
Insert the AI-generated content into the original block or split it into new blocks. Choose the formatting style before inserting.Use web search when needed
Enable Search the web for general-purpose prompts. When enabled, AI Resources are ignored.
