Pergamon 2.8.0 introduces major updates to document editing and quality control in the Document Editor.
This release focuses on improving collaboration reliability and writing accuracy.
🧩 Single-session editing mode
Pergamon now supports single-session editing mode, a new way to manage document edits securely.
When a user begins editing, the document is automatically locked for others until the session ends or is released.
This prevents conflicting edits and ensures version integrity across collaborators.

✍️ Document Spellchecker
A new Document Spellchecker is now built directly into the Pergamon Document Editor.
It automatically checks for spelling, grammar, and style issues in real time, and offers inline suggestions and a proofread view.
The spellchecker can be globally activated from User Settings → Preferences or configured per document block.
