The Search field in the Pergamon Editor now includes a Search by content ID option. This allows you to quickly locate content using its unique Content ID (for example, IC05067). This is especially useful when reviewing error logs, QA comments, translation notes, or layout engine messages that reference Content IDs.
Enable Search by Content ID
Open the document in the Editor.
In the top bar, click inside the Search field.
Open the Search options menu (gear icon).
Turn on Search by content ID.
Once enabled, the search field will match Content IDs instead of text inside the content block.
Search for a Content ID
Enter the Content ID (for example, IC05067) into the search field.
Pergamon highlights the content block that contains this Content ID.
Use the Next / Previous arrows to jump between matches if more than one exists.
Verify the Content ID
To confirm that you are viewing the correct block:
Select the highlighted content block.
Open Content attributes using the layout switcher.
Check the Content ID field — it should match the ID you searched for.

It will not find regular text inside the document.
How to fix:
Turn off “Search by Content ID” and try searching again.
