You can remove a table completely by deleting its content block. Because tables are stored inside content blocks, deleting the block removes the entire table and everything inside it.
Delete a table
Select the content block that contains the table by checking the box to the left of the block in the main editor view.
On the right-side toolbar, click Delete.
The content block and the table it contains will be removed from the document.
Important: Deleting a table is permanent. Table deletions cannot be recovered, even with the Undo action.
