What are Space Before and Space After?
These options control the vertical spacing added before or after a content block. They help separate blocks of text, improve readability, and maintain consistent layout spacing.
Why use these Settings?
- To separate paragraphs or sections visually.
- To create whitespace for improved readability.
- To ensure consistency across different content elements.
Units of Measurement
-
Base: Default spacing set by the system.
-
Custom Values: The value is calculated based on the font size. For example, if the font size of the style has 10 pt and the value is set to 10%, the space before or after value will be set to 2pt.
Note: To apply advanced paragraph formatting on global content,
