Tab Stops control the horizontal positioning of text when the Tab key is pressed. They allow users to align text or create consistent spacing within paragraphs, making it easier to structure information such as columns, tables, or numerical data.
Why Use Tab Stops?
- Align Content: Use consistent tab positions to neatly organize text, numbers, or content blocks.
- Customizable: Set specific positions for tab stops to match your layout or design requirements.
- Precision: Ensures consistent spacing across all content using tabs.
Measurement values
- Base: Uses the system's default tab stops.
- Custom: Allows users to define their own tab stops at specific intervals or percentages. For each tab stop specify the relative percentage value to be applied. The value is calculated based on the page or column width where text is inserted. For example, if the page width is 100 mm and the value is set to 10%, the first tab stop is set to 10 mm.
